The Ziath Automated Plate Stacker has been designed to efficiently present and remove micro well plates from a set position within an automation operation; for example, feeding open plates to a plate sealing device or supplying pre- or retrieving post-worked plates from an automation cell or system. Via RS232 the system is simple to integrate: this is a service offered by Ziath or alternatively can be performed in house.

The Ziath MicroPlate Defroster combines efficiency and ease of use. Streaming room temperature air over frozen microtubes increases the rate at which the contents are thawed. With no direct heating of the tubes, the contents are not compromised with the risk of raised temperatures. At room temperature and without the MicroPlate Defroster, defrosting can take up to four hours. With the Ziath MicroPlate Defroster, thawing can be achieved in as little as half an hour.

By maintaining control of heat and time based variables and apply the film to achieve the seal. The unit is electrically operated and hence will only require a standard mains socket outlet - no compressed air is required.
